Established in Geneva in 2013, the United Music Foundation is an officially recognized tax-exempt non-profit. It is monitored by ASFIP.
To date, the United Music Foundation has preserved hundreds of recordings, including previously unreleased works by prestigious artists.
Its work has garnered media coverage in many countries and has received:
- The Best Reissue Award from the Académie du Jazz (Paris),
- The Memoriav – Swiss Commission for UNESCO Award for the best Swiss initiative for preservation or enhancement carried out in the context of the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage.
The United Music Foundation can pursue its mission only with the support of private and public funding.
It has already received support from the Canton and the City of Geneva, from the Loterie Romande, as well as from private patrons, donors and other institutions.
If you wish to contribute to preserving and passing on our shared recorded music heritage, you may:
- make a donation
to the United Music Foundation.
We would be happy to acquaint you with our activities,
- support or commission a project
around a particular artist or work, in any musical style (historical research, preservation, restoration, and release of recordings),
- make a gift of our releases
to your clients, partners, or your company’s employees.
All profits from the sale of our releases are used to make other preservation projects possible.
